Restaurant Manager is reported to General Manager. She/He will oversee the entire restaurant and bar department and ensure its smooth running. The restaurant Manager will manage a team of servers, bussers, and bartenders. She/He will create procedures and provide a complete training for all his/her team. Will ensure professional follow-up with any partners or suppliers.

 

Main responsibilities

 

  • Efficiently and effectively manage the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant and bars.
  • Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure exceptional customer service and a top-notch dining experience according to Arev brand identity standards.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a competent and motivated team, ensuring Arev service standards are met.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase the profitability of the restaurant and bars.
  • Manage purchasing and ordering by collaborating with suppliers to ensure a supply of quality products.
  • Control costs, manage budgets, and ensure financial profitability of the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations according to local regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on market trends and developments in the hospitality and restaurant industry to propose constant innovative ideas and improvements.

Skills and required experience:

 

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership position within the hospitality and restaurant industry.
  • Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on attention to detail and operational excellence
  • Solid financial management skills, including purchasing and ordering management, with the ability to control costs and maximize profitability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations, as well as local restaurant regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively solve problems.
